The recent Section 301 additional tariffs that have been imposed on US imports of Chinese products has affected many industries, including the food ingredient sector. The tariffs are divided into 2 groups: $250 Billion in one group and $300 Billion in the second. The first group has been tariffed more heavily, initially at 25% and thereafter upped to 30%. The second group was originally tariffed at 10% and was thereafter upped to 15%.  

USTR Lists 1,2, & 3 makeup the total products in the first group. List 4 contains the second group, but is split into 2 further subcategories; the first meant to go into effect Oct 15, 2019 and the latter on Dec. 15, 2019. 

These lists ay be accessed on the USTR website. One can also find there a search database wherein HTS codes can be entered and the 301 Tariff will be displayed.
